Clover Counselling Mission The Clover

The Clover

The three leaves of the clover represent faith, hope and love. All three play a part in our journey towards healing and restoration: Faith in the process, in ourselves or in a Higher Power; Hope in a future; Love of those who help and support us, love for self and our people.

It has been said that while other things will cease and pass away, these three will remain: "faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13, The Holy Bible). And of this Love we are also reminded, by the clover's heart-shaped leaves.

The clover on its own is tiny and delicate. But it is resilient and propagates easily. Clover is grown as ground cover by farmers, serving a purpose beyond the call of a common weed.

May we, like the clover, be resilient. No matter how tiny or delicate we feel, may we find purpose and grow. And may the love we encounter along the way, propagate.

Sue-Ann is patient and non-judgmental in listening to my concerns. She makes me feel heard and validated. By graciously nudging me to consider alternative viewpoints, I have been able to break out of thought patterns I've maintained for years. This has been extremely helpful to developing a more empowered mindset in which I am capable of action and not a victim to my circumstances. I highly recommend speaking to Sue-Ann if you're looking to scrutinise your thought patterns and replace them with healthier ones.

I couldn't be more grateful for the support I received from Sue Ann. Her empathy and non-presumptuous approach created a safe space for me to explore my thoughts and feelings. Her knack for asking insightful questions helped me gain new perspectives and navigate through my challenges. Her depth of knowledge and practical advice provided me with invaluable tools to move forward. I highly recommend Sue Ann to anyone seeking compassionate and effective guidance.

Sue Ann has been amazing throughout my sessions with her – attentive, empathetic, and astute. What I liked about having her as my counselor was how she always encouraged me to go within and create space for myself to understand it. Under her guidance, I've grown tremendously: having to pick up thought patterns, being more resilient, and well as growing to seem a little more human...to be in touch with my feelings. Thank you for your unwavering support, grounding, and creating a safe space for me.

I’ve learned to better manage anxiety and understand more about the grief and emotions I was experiencing. I feel better. I am better able to look after my mental health. I’m healing from past traumas and am able to lead myself, remembering the 8Cs of IFS. Through learning to love myself better, practicing self-care and healthier self-talk, I’m also learning to address my insecurities about body image.

It has been a very pleasant experience as I was able to comfortably open up about my past experiences and share my emotions freely. Sue-Ann’s empathy helped me to trust and share with her the pain I was experiencing without fear of judgement. I am greatly satisfied with the full journey and what I have gained out of this counselling experience.

I had the pleasure of attending a presentation by Ms Tan Sue-Ann on counselling for parties undergoing divorce applications. She was able to guide family law practitioners on the complex inter play of being there for our clients whilst also maintaining a composed viewpoint. She shared various tips on identifying what a person may be undergoing and how we could assess the best assistance that we can provide. She showed a great grasp of the subject that allowed her share from her own experiences that made the presentation highly engaging. I would highly recommend seeking out Ms Tan Sue-Ann's services!
